The Temecula, California, Sheriff’s Office released a sketch today of a man wanted as a suspect in a sexual assault near a shopping mall. The following details were released by the department in hopes someone will recognize the suspect:
On December 10, 2012, at around 4:30 P.M., officers from the Temecula Police Department officers responded to assist a 19-year-old female who claimed she had been sexually assaulted at a strip-mall shopping center, located at the intersection of Rancho California Road and Meadows Parkway, Temecula, CA.
An unidentified white male adult in his early twenties (20’s) approached the female in the parking lot at around 2:30P.M., as she walked towards the retail stores. The suspect attacked the female in the parking lot and sexually assaulted her, but she was not injured. The victim screamed and the suspect eventually fled from the area on foot.
With the assistance of a forensic technician, a composite sketch of the suspect was created. The suspect is described as a white male adult, early (20’s), about 5’10”- 6’00” tall, with short, messy, brown hair.
