(PORTLAND, OR) — On Saturday December 8, 2012, at 3:16 a.m., Portland Police officers assigned to Central Precinct responded to the report of a stabbing at 20th Avenue and Northwest Glisan Street.
Officers located a 54-year-old male suffering from multiple stab wounds. Medical personnel transported the man to a Portland hospital where he remains in critical condition with life-threatening injuries.
The victim well-known to officers as a homeless man that frequents Northwest Portland.
The only suspect information at this time is that the suspect might be a Native American male. Officers conducted a neighborhood canvass but did not locate anyone matching this limited suspect description.
