(PORTLAND, OR) — On December 2, 2010, at approximately 2:30 a.m., Portland Police officers assigned to East Precinct responded to the 3500 block of Southeast 72nd Avenue after a neighbor called 9-1-1 to report loud sounds coming from a next door residence.
Officers arrived and entered the home where they discovered 32-year-old Randy Lee Willard Jr. deceased under suspicious circumstances.
Officers called Homicide detectives to the scene regarding the suspicious death and after the initial investigation, Homicide detectives determined that Willard’s death was the result of a homicide.
The Oregon State Medical Examiner conducted an autopsy on Willard and determined that he died of a gunshot wound.
No arrests have been made in this case and Homicide detectives would like to hear from anyone with information about Willard’s death.
